Chocolate Chip Loaf with Cinnamon Swirl

An easy and comforting, home-spun breakfast bread or dessert.Ingredients2 cups all purpose flour1/2 tsp baking soda1/2 tsp baking powder1/2 tsp salt6 tablespoons butter softened2/3 cup sugar3 large eggs1 tsp vanilla1 cup buttermilk or yogurt1/2 cup chocolate chipsCinnamon Sugar:3/4 cup sugar2 tsp cinnamonInstructionsPreheat oven to 350 degrees F.In a bowl, combine flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Set aside.In a separate bowl, mix the sugar and cinnamon for cinnamon sugarIn a third bowl, mix together butter and sugar. Add eggs, mix well. Add in vanilla. Mix well.Add the dry mixture to the wet mixture and stir until just combined. Add the buttermilk or yogurt and stir until combined. Do not over mix. Fold in chocolate chips.Spoon 1/2 the batter into a loaf pan that has been coated with oil. Spoon the cinnamon sugar evenly over the batter. Spoon the remaining batter to cover.Bake for approximately 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean . Remove from oven and let cool. Enjoy!
