Matthew’s Letter

My son Matthew is a remarkable boy. He is as wise as he is kind and he has my heart.I told him and his brother Jack (his twin) about meeting Sharon (see last post), and Matthew said "Mom, can I write her a letter?" I told him of course, and this is what he wrote:"Dear Sharon: I hope you have a long, peaceful life and enough food and water. From, Matthew"He wrote it on a yellow piece of paper, and under the note drew a house with one person handing a gift to another. Some sand and sea were in front of the house.He and his brother also gave me two dollars each, which I put into an envelope with the note.I will carry the envelope in my purse and the next time I see Sharon, will give it to her.
