It was only after studying yoga for 25 years that I realized my body craved different kinds of movement, poses that focuses less on flexibility and more on core strength and the strength of the powerhouse — abs plus hips, butt, thighs. I fell in love with class again, so much so, that I decided to pursue a teaching certification! I am currently in the 500-Hour program at Innerstellar Yoga and Pilates in Berkeley, CA. I loved feeling my body get stronger and move in new ways. I saw my body transform and move more confidently in the world. I am convinced that movement, whichever speaks most to you, is key to growing older with more joy and ease.
